A city known for its livelier setting and bountiful wonders– this is what Tangier is all about. Where alleged stories about mafia are told, Tangier can also make a negative impression, especially on first-time tourists. But though it’s considered to be less safe than other cities in Morocco, this indispensable part of a great African country still boasts of equally impressive Tangier hotels and attractions as seen in other famous towns. It also has its own share of magnificent beaches, bustling city life, alluring surprises, and Tangier hotels for tourists who want to relive the glory of the classic American film, “Casablanca.” Yes, you heard it right! The film also used Tangier as an actual model for one of the most romantic movies of all time that featured Hollywood legends, Ingrid Bergman and Humphrey Bogart.

With all these, the rumored hostility in Tangier shouldn’t stop you from experiencing the more beautiful part of the city. The petty offenses in Tangier’s society will all be taken care of by the police authority. Hence, your only business here is to take delight in your travel and enjoy the safety Tangier hotels may provide. A tour in Tangier has great things to offer than a single bad news, so might as well focus on the good memories you’ll get from this Moroccan city. Here’s how you may remember the fascinating things about Tangier:

1. Create a collage out of your photos in Tangier.

Taking pictures is a common activity among travelers in Tangier. Your fascination will surely grow as you stop at every fantastic sight you’ll see to pose for a great shot. Every statue, museum, garden, market, and airport are worthy of a photograph. But without the help of your good old camera, nothing will remind you of the things you’ve uncovered about Tangier. So at night, when you have nothing else to do at one of the Tangier hotels in town, why not try to create a collage of these pictures? Aside from preserving your photos, this can also be a creative souvenir item to people you left at home.

2. Collect hotel memorabilia.

Tangier hotels have a lot of stuff to offer. From tissue papers to shower caps, these hotels provide the utmost convenience for your personal needs. Since these things are part of the services you paid for, they are considered your own. Get some of these mementos, keep them in a little box, and write a few things about each item. Just make sure that you don’t keep the things you didn’t pay for like the bedsheets and curtains to stay clear from petty crimes of theft.

3. Keep a travel diary.

Great travelers know that writing down their thoughts about every journey is important. So instead of feeling bored at one of the Tangier hotels, write down your experiences and reflections during your Tangier vacation. This travel diary will let you remember that once in your life you have been in a fabulous city otherwise known as Tangier.

4. Take home a recipe.

Since it’s impossible for you to take a pastilla or couscous from Tangier to your country of origin, you have no other choice but to take home the recipe. Observe the food served in Tangier hotels and try to learn how you can prepare them back at home. If you know how to cook this special cuisine, you can have a Moroccan meal anytime you wish even in your own country.

The next time you feel bad about having a vacation in Tangier, just think of the great things you can do to dwell on the fascinating memories you can have in this Moroccan city. With Tangier hotels to offer you a home sweet home, you don’t have to worry much about anything but your exotic travel adventures.

Jumeirah owns the Emirates Towers hotel, the Jumeirah Beach hotel, the Madinat group of hotels, which includes Mina A Salam, Al Qasr & the Madinat Souk which houses the largest swimming pool in the Middle East. Jumeirah also owns the amazing desert hotel, Bab Al Shams, located in the desert with sand dunes rolling from its perimeters and making a fantastic landscape for the falcon shows and camel riding they offer.

All Jumeirah hotels have amazing architecture and are worth a visit for this alone. This, together with their famous customer service values, makes them a great choice for visitors to Dubai. For a true taste of Arabia, visit the Madinat Souk, part of the Madinat and Mina A Salam complex located on Jumeirah beach. This resort offers 42 restaurants overlooking the Burj Al Arab and each is situated on the edge of their very own canal. Watch the dhows transport the hotel guests around this vast complex on their waterways and lagoon. It really is a beautiful spot for a sundowner or a meal incorporating food from all over the world.

There are many other famous branded hotels in Dubai, from The One and Only Royal Mirage to Hiltons, Sheratons (both beach and airport locations), the Kempinski Group, Shangri La Group and Crown Plaza among many others. Most hotels are at 5 star standard, however there are some lower cost hotels such as the 4 star Al Manzil hotel, located behind the worlds tallest building the Burj Dubai nestling in its own Arabian style architecture and complementing the huge sky rise buildings surrounding it.

The Grosvenor House hotel located in Dubai Marina is a fantastic venue for staying or visiting their restaurants and bars. Have a drink in Bar 44 located on the 44th floor of the hotel and offering amazing views of the Marina area, and then take the express lift down to the fabulous Buddha Bar for a fusion of Thai and international cuisine.

All 5 star hotels in Dubai have pools, gyms and restaurant facilities with many offering spa areas as well. Of course the crme de la crme of spa facilities has to be located within the 7 star hotels of the Burj Al Arab, where reservations are recommended and the environment is so much part of the treatment you will never want to leave!

Many hotels also offer apartment facilities so if you are here longer term and want to experience more of the home comforts, these are a great option.

Other companies capitalizing on the huge tourism market here are with their Versace Palazzo hotel and the Trump Towers hotel (located on the famous Palm Island). Versace should be opening its doors to the international elite during 2008 with the Trump Tower hotel opening scheduled to be around early 2010.

Ranging from amazing desert hotels, luxury beach hotels and fantastic corporate hotels in the city, Dubai offers an eclectic mix to choose from. However, all are within close proximity of all tourist facilities, shopping malls and attractions as well as its fantastic beaches – you can’t go far wrong with any location. Most city business hotels located along Sheikh Zayed road also have affiliations with beach hotels and will transport you to the beach during your stay.

“Why be normal?” You have probably seen this question plastered on mugs, buttons, and bumper stickers. If you think about it, this could be considered a rephrasing of the saying, “Variety is the spice of life.” Variety makes life interesting. We can choose which flavor of ice cream we want at an ice cream shop. When choosing a vehicle, a seemingly endless supply of makes, models, and features exist. And when choosing someone to date or marry, there seem to be as many varieties of people as stars in the sky. Often, the variety in our lives is created by people who have chosen to be different from others in society. Normal refers to what is common and expected. By going outside the realm of normal, we can indeed spice up our lives and the lives of those around us. Likewise, when visiting England, you might want to consider visiting the county of Cornwall. While exploring what makes the area refreshingly different from the rest of the country, you can also enjoy a quality hotel in Cornwall.

Plateaus and Peninsulas
Cornwall’s uniqueness begins with its geography. Bordered by the region Devon, the Atlantic Ocean, and the English Channel, it is classified as a peninsula. Cornwall is also a plateau that lies near sea level. The industries of Cornwall vary from farming to ship repairing to tourism. Even the fishes that are caught along Cornwall’s coasts are not as plentiful in other parts of England. This includes the pilchard, a small relative of the herring. After hitting the various tourist spots in Cornwall, you will be ready to kick back and relax in a quality hotel in Cornwall.

Not Your Average “Once Upon a Time”
While resting in a quality hotel in Cornwall, you will have the opportunity to read up on Cornwall’s history, which is relatively unique from other British regions. Here is why.

* In the 1300s, the county of Cornwall was organized as a duchy –a region that is ruled by either a duchess or a duke.

* The Wesleyan movement, begun by Charles and John Wesley, became prominent in Cornwall during the 1700s. Today, the Methodist church is the most common religious group in Cornwall.

* The Cornish language is related to Breton and Welsh, but all speakers of Cornish have used both English and their native tongue since the 1700s.

* Cornwall did not quickly acknowledge the Reformation. This was a movement of Western Europe during the 1500s which attempted to change particular beliefs and traditions of the Roman Catholic Church. This resulted in the creation of Protestant churches. In fact, thousands of Cornish people marched in the middle 16th century, in support of the Roman Catholic Church’s religious service.

Sleeping in Style without Prices Being Sky High
Mirroring the uniqueness of the landscape and history of Cornwall, staying at a quality hotel in Cornwall will supply you with an above-average experience that you will never forget. This type of hotel can be situated close to all of the major tourist destinations of the county. At the same time, it offers you a brief getaway from your thrilling yet tiring sightseeing. Luxurious amenities such as air-conditioned units, indoor pools, golf courses, saunas, and satellite TV can be offered for outstanding prices at a quality hotel in Cornwall.

So, why be normal when in Cornwall? Being different can be better. After all, Cornwall is a British region that is interesting as it is unique. Staying in a quality hotel in Cornwall is another experience that will make your trip above and beyond what you ever could have imagined.

Property firms are increasingly looking at constructing more three and four star hotels in Dubai these days. Dubai has made a surge in the recent years in trying to become the recreational center of the Middle East. A large number of tourists, apart from its expatriate community, are crowding Dubai’s lanes each year. This has given a great push to Dubai hotels, especially to those in the luxury segment. One may see many five star hotels popping up across Dubai’s horizon as a result, and many being announced regularly. The realty market hasn’t taken care of catering to the needs of the low-end clientele, on the other hand. Realtors are increasingly looking at developing more affordable hotels therefore, and trying to gain a foothold in this emerging scenario.

There are several reasons why we are witnessing a sudden spurt in three and four star hotels in Dubai. First of all, tourism is getting diversified and looking out at wining the favor of low-end clientele in the whole world. Airlines are offering discounted flights to keep up being alive in an overcrowded zone. Tour operators are selling last minute holidays and cheaper hotel rooms to win more buyers. Travel industry is fast acquiring a global and competitive outlook. Dubai hotels couldn’t ignore these emerging trends. There are several other major cities in the Middle East that could soon start giving Dubai a run for its money. Dubai has got no other alternative but to begin re-looking at its policies; hence the rising demand for less expensive hotels now.

There are a total of 90 three and four star hotels in Dubai in the present day scenario. However, it stands highly insufficient in the backdrop of a rising demand for budget accommodation. The trend might transform very quickly though, since more and more the UAE based construction houses were proposing budget hotel plans. Dubai’s investment firm Istithmar plans to partner with London based Easy Group, and build 50 more budget hotels in the near future. These Dubai hotels would be launched and promoted under the brand name of Istithmar Hotels. Dutch hotel chain, Golden Tulip Hospitality, is also planning to partner in 10 new budget hotels soon. The firm is already managing twelve hotels across this region and six more are scheduled to open up by the end of 2009.

Hotels in Dubai have always reported strong occupancy, especially during the peak summer seasons. However, the new emerging trend is that of an increased number of travelers from within the Gulf region. Until recently, Gulf travelers constituted up to 25 % of the clientele in Dubai hotels, most of these having their annual summer breaks. However, this has gone up to 50% in the recent months. Most hotels and hotel apartments report of occupancies that may lie in excess of 80 to 90 percent. One might say therefore how exhausted Dubai hotels could be finding it to continue as a business today, and how urgently they need to be given more three and four star hotels by the real estate firms.

For a Mediterranean island with good year round weather, a friendly local English speaking population and facilities to rival that of any of her competitors, Malta is a suprisingly often forgotten island for many people planning a holiday in the Mediterranean.

Malta missed some of her own governments tourist targets in 2005, but a recent visit by Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh resulted in four days of positive media coverage in the islands most important market the United Kingdom and also in over 50 other countries attending the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting, including Canada and Australia.

The Queen began her official visit to Malta before she opened the meeting, and was warmly greeted by friendly islanders.

Malta was governed by the British for a hundred and fifty years, and became independent in 1964. But the island has retained many British characteristics, including driving on the left, and British visitors account for nearly half of the islands tourists.

The George Cross ranks with the Victoria Cross as Britains highest award for bravery and Malta was awarded the Cross in 1942 by King George VI for the islands resistance to German attempts to occupy the island, with Malta being under almost constant attack from June 1940.

As well as the challenge of drawing tourists away from other Mediterranean islands like Mallorca and Menorca, Malta has had to face the additional challenge of new holiday destinations in the former Eastern Bloc opening up, such as Bulgaria and Croatia, which tend to be cheaper.

Brighter Future

But where the Maltese tourist board has singularly failed to market the islands appeal to the mass holiday market with any degree of success in recent years, the Queens visit has come at the right time for hotels and holiday companies hoping for a good 2006.

Tribune Properties, a British based company specialising in overseas properties including Malta comment:

Malta is not a high priority on the list of holiday destinations for many British people compared to the Spanish Costas, Canary and Balearic Islands. The visit of the Queen showed Malta in a very positive light, and hopefully the islands tourist officials will be able to capitalise on the trip and increase hotel and holiday bookings in the months ahead. Given Maltas past record of promotion though if 2006 sees an increase in visitors it will be despite of the official promotions, and not because of it..

More good news for the Malta holiday industry came in October with the announcement that low cost airlines had been been given the right to fly to the island.

This will help both the hotel and property industries in Malta add Tribune. With the cost of getting to the island coming down, Malta should see her share of the short stay European holiday market increase substantially, increasing employment locally and benefitting the economy overall.

Since its inception in April 1830, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has always had a relationship with business. From the N.K. Whitney store 180 years ago to church owned Deseret Book Company, which is getting ready to celebrate 140 years in business, the Latter-day Saints have always been mercantile minded. Nauvoo hosts another great historic business Zions Mercantile. This building and its nightly rentals and old store are great examples of the value based businesses that have always been a part of our history says Mathew Glenn, President of Zions Mercantile; Industry and hard work is part of our heritage.

Zions Mercantile is located across the street from the Nauvoo Temple and has an old fashioned store on the main floor. The store sells everything from handmade soaps and candles to real antiques and art. Above the store are nightly rooms, which were designed a little larger and are modeled after the historic homes and Inns of old Nauvoo. Each room has breathtaking and up-close views of the Temple and balconies that look out over the little town. The rooms can be rented nightly and offer families a place where they can all stay together instead of breaking up into several small motel rooms outside of town.

We have a great store on the main floor which offers Deseret Book products, and family lodging on the upper floor that makes this whole building seem to come alive with history says Glenn. Zions Mercantile also has a bakery which offered specialty soups and sandwiches as well as an array of baked pies and breads.

Our real goal is to continue to preserve the tradition of good value and friendly service. We hope that will always remain our trademark says Glenn. Rooms at the Historic Zions Mercantile can be reserved by calling 800-860-1215

Of course, the Big Apple has an allure that most U.S. cities simply do not have, yet most people cannot tell you what it is that is so magical and mysterious about NYC. One of the most enticing things about going to Manhattan is the idea of walking up and down Broadway and, of course, seeing a show or two. While some people go to Manhattan to see the museums and to go shopping, many travelers want to go in order to see what really happens on the Great White Way.

New York hotels are somewhat more expensive than hotels in the rest of the U.S., but most travelers going to the city are prepared to pay more for their accommodations. Most travelers, even those going to NYC for the first time, realize that finding a place to stay in the city can be a daunting task. On the other hand, finding affordable accommodations is possible, even in Manhattan. If there is an area of the city where you prefer to find your accommodations, it is still possible to find something on the more affordable end of the price range that is within that location.

There are plenty of large New York hotels that are situated near major attractions such as Broadway and Lincoln Center. These larger hotels are often listed at prices that match their high-end addresses in Manhattan. On the other hand, there are a few smaller establishments within this area of the city that offer rooms at much more affordable prices than the larger corporate names. The key to finding accommodations in these smaller establishments is to plan your trip early by choosing your dates and then searching online to choose your accommodations.

When it comes to finding accommodations in NYC, the option of sorting New York hotels according to their locations is an important one for a lot of travelers. If you would like to be near the theater district, you will notice that the big corporate hotels are very expensive. If you are trying to meet a specific travel budget, you will want to look for smaller, boutique hotels with fewer guestrooms and, in most cases, without an elevator. If these features sound okay to you, choosing one of the small, privately run establishments will help you to meet your set travel budget while letting you enjoy all that the city has to offer.

It is no secret that more and more often, travelers are opting for resort-like vacations. Falling in this category of vacations are cruises in which all are included and resorts in the Caribbean such as Sandals where everything is included. More and more often, Las Vegas hotels are falling into this new category of vacation. In the gambling capital of the world, there are many establishments that have always featured accommodations and casino entertainment under one roof. Frequently, the casino occupies the ground floor of the building and the upper stories are reserved for guest rooms. This format has been around for a while, but it recently has become more and more desirable for tourists.

A lot of tourists are looking for the total price tag for their vacation. Everyone knows that all the daily expenses while on vacation almost always end up adding up to more than you had calculated during your planning stages. Las Vegas hotels are not the cheapest in the U.S., and if you add the amount of money one frequently spends on gambling while there and the cost of food each day, you have already got yourself quite a pricey vacation.

The allure of the all-inclusive vacation is that you know exactly what the total cost will be before beginning the actual vacation. The total price of an all-inclusive vacation seems staggering at first. But if you compare with a vacation taken la carte, when you add up all of the individual costs, it is usually the case that travelers end up spending more when they take these vacations instead of choosing an all-inclusive resort.

The allure of this newer type of vacation has not escaped the best Las Vegas hotels, and a lot of casino resorts are now offering vacation packages that include lodging costs, the costs of meals that are eaten within the resort complex, and, in some cases, gambling activities. Of course, travelers wishing to spend more than the pre-determined amount on gambling can simply use money from their own pockets to continue gambling once the set amount from their vacation package has run out.

Especially for travelers traveling with their spouses or with their families, the all-inclusive vacation is a great way to make sure that all the costs are covered, and, perhaps even more important, a great way to avoid fighting about money during the vacation. Many travelers do not consider the possibility of arguments while on vacation when they are planning their trip, but many families tend to disagree when it comes to how to spend their hard-earned dollars.

While Las Vegas hotels can take a fair portion of your familys vacation budget, you can find affordable ones that provide the amenities you want, or splurge on those that provide your meals and entertainment during your stay. Visit the website of Essen Travel at http://www.essentravel.com today for all of your travel needs. On its website, you can plan everything from accommodations to airfare and car rentals, making the planning phase of your vacation almost as enjoyable as the vacation itself.

There are 1000s of hotels in central London, 9,248 officially classed hotels to be precise, and variety and choice is vast, from the beautiful Abbey Court hotel in Pembridge Gardens, to the vast Cumberland hotel at Marble Arch, cheap and cheerful gems like the Hyde Park Towers to the amazing expensive Charlton Tower hotel, this city has it all.

In London hotels whether it is 2 star, 3 star, 4 star or even 5 star, London hotels have worked very hard to improve and develop their product, some much better than others. To look at highlighting each star grading, best leisure hotels, best business hotels, best niche hotels, unique hotel and also aspects like innovation or unique and interesting product offerings, would be near impossible as London hotels continue to strive for that USP.

There are copious negatives about central London hotels, be warned, however air conditioning is possible the worst, This is due to, in the most parts, the age of a lot of the hotel buildings, and then the vast cost of upgrading. However I do accept that in central London, as in any major city that there are some disappointing hotels, but we also know that any city needs a wide range of choice and that is one thing London provides.

One point that you will always seen when searching for a London hotel is that every hotel in the city will talk about having the best location in the city. Location is such a relative point, because it is only the best location if it is exactly where you want to be, and what is quite sad is that some very disappointing hotels charge a higher rate because they believe they have a great location. However if you are coming to the city for a vacation then just about any central London hotel has a suitable location, it really is that simple. So when picking your hotel please do not be over charged or misled by location, location, location.

Another serious is the star ratings, nearly 40% of all London hotels who claim a star rating have either never been judged, or have not had it reviewed for many many years and the system is very seriously flawed. % levels to cover the vast array of different hotels is simply not possible. The 3 star market in London is so populated and the differences between those hotels can be amazing. One London 3 star hotel has a great swimming pool, copious restaurant and food choice, and air-conditioning yet is still judged the same as some hotel that is nothing more than a very good B&B, it simply does not add up, so be careful.

Inverness set on the banks of the river Ness is the only city and the capital of the Scottish Highlands. Lying at the north end of the great Glen, Scotlands fifth city, Inverness lies on the nerve line of communication across the Highlands for the past 20 centuries, being the gateway to the northern Scotland. It is the centre of Commerce, communication and administration for a large geographical area with a population of 51,000 (2001). Owing to the rich past of Scotland, Inverness consists of a medieval street network, and a few scattered remains of the glorious architecture and buildings of the yesteryears. Most of the buildings that stand today are from the 19th century and the present architecture can be found towards the south of the city that extends to Beauly Firth.

Inverness was granted its city status by the Queen in December 2000, and celebrated the new found status in March 2001. Today, Inverness is considered the fastest growing city in Western Europe. Most health conscious people find Inverness to be a favored destination due to the peace and natural ambience it offers and prefer to migrate here in search of it. Many new housing estates are coming up to the west of the city and tourism and healthcare contribute mostly to its economy.

Inverness, as a favored tourist destination has many a sights to offer and has been promoted recently as a wedding, banquet and conference destination. The most favored accommodation by tourists is the hotels in Inverness. As a result many hotels adorn the citys streets. Almost all of them offer the best amenities in Inverness.

Many hotels serve as conference venues for meetings, seminars and other conference of big companies. The serene and natural ambience of Inverness in contrast to the hustle and bustle of normal city life helps people relax and makes learning efficient.. Many people are known to have had their weddings at Inverness and the hotels serve as the best hosts for wedding guest and the hosts alike. Wedding services offered by Inverness hotels as banquet venues or wedding reception venues are absolutely wonderful. Added to this is the natural ambience that lends the all important romantic feeling to the newly wed.
